The AutoCAD 2D drawing features of AutoCAD are built on the ability to create two-dimensional drawings in the standard drawing and design space. In this space, objects are created in x,y Cartesian coordinates. A 2D drawing consists of a number of 2D viewports, each containing a set of objects. Viewports are the rectangular regions of a drawing space that are visible. Viewports are displayed on the screen as two-dimensional windows with colored borders. Each viewport’s objects are made up of a collection of 2D lines, arcs, and circles. When all drawing tools are selected in a drawing area, an outline viewport appears. In this viewport, lines are drawn as filled, outline-only, or both types of lines. In AutoCAD R14, both the standard and outline views can be toggled by using the keyboard, but in previous releases, only the standard views were available. In earlier releases, it was possible to create 2D drawings using any of the three view types.
The AutoCAD 2D drawing viewports each have colored borders with each viewport representing a view of the drawing. Viewports are placed in the drawing space in a two-dimensional array.
Viewports are made up of several graphic components including line, text, polyline, and arcs. The simplest components, lines and arcs, are shown below. Viewports for shape editing, text, and forms are discussed in the section below.
When a 2D viewport is made up of all lines and arcs, it is called a standard viewport. When only the outline of a viewport is shown, it is called an outline viewport. All other viewports have a colored border and are therefore designated with a viewport name. For example, a viewport for a section view is called “Section View” and has a blue border. Viewports can be divided into different categories by the type of object(s) contained in

Category:Computer-aided design software for WindowsThe present invention relates generally to biocompatible flowable compositions based on poly(alkylene oxide)s. More particularly, this invention relates to a class of biocompatible poly(alkylene oxide)s with improved properties.
Poly(alkylene oxide)s are water soluble, non-toxic, and biocompatible polymers of hydrophilic nature. Poly(alkylene oxides) have been used in medical applications such as sterilizing agents, absorbents, and wound healers. They are typically used in aqueous compositions, for example, for washing and rinsing, and also in chemical compositions such as dishwashing liquids, as base fluids for emulsion polymerization and fuel for polyurethane production. In the field of absorbents, poly(alkylene oxide)s have been used as drug-delivery systems.
It is known that aqueous solutions of some poly(alkylene oxides) display gel-like behavior, due to their gelation tendency and due to their hydrophobic nature. Poly(alkylene oxide)s with molecular weights less than about 20,000, and especially those below about 10,000, are very prone to gelation. To be effective as an absorbent in the low-molecular-weight range, poly(alkylene oxide)s often contain salts such as sodium or ammonium salts. It is common practice to include these salts in the absorbent composition to decrease the hydrophobicity of the poly(alkylene oxide). However, some of the aqueous solutions of poly(alkylene oxides) tend to gel even in the presence of relatively small amounts of salt, which may result in a slow absorption of water or other liquids. Thus, the use of poly(alkylene oxide)s in absorbent compositions

What’s New in the?
Enhance your design workflow with the Markup Assist features of the AutoCAD 2023 software release. With Markup Assist, you can make and review changes using auto-populated text boxes, add notes, and more. (video: 2:20 min.)
Support for AutoCAD 2020 Drafting Styles:
The new Drafting Styles feature in AutoCAD 2023 allows you to define a customizable look for your drawings. You can choose from one of the original AutoCAD 2019 Drafting Styles (Classic, Modern, Rational, and Research), or a new experimental Drafting Style. (video: 1:36 min.)
New Windows and Windows Apps in AutoCAD 2023:
New for Windows users, the Windows Store has been moved to the Windows Desktop. The Windows Desktop has been improved with the following features: Windows App chooser to run Windows apps, click the Start menu button, and more. Windows Live Tiles now appear on the task bar to quickly access a live tile for updates. Windows Live Tiles now launch apps to specific pages of the app’s Windows Store listing. (video: 2:05 min.)
For Windows Apps, the Windows Desktop has been renamed to Windows App for easy identification. Windows Apps are now launched from the Windows Apps menu item in the Windows taskbar. The Windows Apps feature includes apps with AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT functionality such as Inventor, Altium Designer, SolidWorks, and more. (video: 2:04 min.)
AutoCAD in AutoCAD
With AutoCAD 2019, we introduced a new workflow for viewing and annotating your drawings. The Annotate feature in AutoCAD lets you draw directly on the screen, and then export that annotation to your drawing as a block. Blocks can be turned off or on, and remain live in your drawing. Annotation features now come with AutoCAD 2023, and are designed to support this new workflow.
The Annotate and Review features have been renamed to Draw and Review in AutoCAD. The new functions provide a new view for viewing your annotations, including an easy way to add/revise and edit annotations. You can also now export annotations to PDF, JPG, or PNG format. (video: 1:55 min.)
